Didn't really need a new mixer...but the prospect of it being quieter sold me on the idea. Last year's renovation, changing to an open concept design...now involves any noise made in the kitchen becoming a shared experience for those watching the TV in the family room...not always happily!! I've only used it once. My main complaint is with using the mixer while on the stand. The beaters don't go to the bottom of the bowl and you have to keep a close eye on the bowl when it starts spinning which kind of defeats the purpose. Its ok but could be improved.. Sara. I didn’t get to see the mixer before I bought it and it is a lot larger and heavier that I expected compared to the old Hamilton Beach mixer I was replacing. Perfect! I am continuing this review after owning this amazing little blender for over two years now ...this poor little blender has been through a smoothie phase... a fresh pasta sauce phase and a morning power drink phase...we use this blender almost daily!! Do not be deceived by its size!! This blender chews through pretty much everything weve thrown at it... I love the Simplicity of it! I love the size of it!! I tuck it away and it takes up essentially no room in my cabinet ...the cups that are included are absolutely Lifesavers ...we can mix up drinks in the morning and take them with us for our mid-morning power snack.. they are screw tops so I dont have to worry about anything leaking... as you can see in my photos with all of this use and abuse this blender shows no sign of wear whatsoever... the blades are still razor sharp and the motor is just as strong as the day that I purchased it!! This has already outlasted many small kitchen appliances in our kitchen! I should say that I purchased this wonderful blender during one of Wayfairs many many kitchen gadgets sales and I paid a fraction of the list price for it !! The shipping was free.. it arrived a few days before I even expected it... although had I just followed Wayfairs very easy shipping update portion of the my order page I would have seen it in real time.. once again Wayfair delivered and outstanding product for a fraction of the price!. jocelyn.
