I love these placemats so much that I bought 2 sets. Each set has 4 placemats. They look exactly as shown on the website. The backing is cork( See last photo). I gave it 4 stars because when I first opened the box the mats smelled of gasoline. I put the mats outside to air them for 24 hours before they stopped smelling.
