Bought the California king size down comforter to put in a king duvet cover on a queen size bed. It is as fluffy and luxurious as I had hoped although less fluffy than the photos online appear. The comforter is so much warmer than my old one. I used to need an extra fleece blanket and would still be cold. With this new comforter, I was able to remove the fleece blanket and set my thermostat 5 degrees lower in New England winter and still be cozy and warm. I love it. Inspired by pure thickness. Maybe we've lost our minds here at coma inducer or maybe we've always had a couple of screws loose??? But we've become obsessed with thick. Seriously though, who likes a weak comforter? Does anyone enjoy getting a comforter vacuum smushed in a box that looks like a flat sheet and comes with instructions to shake it out and wait 4 days? And, after those 4 days are up, it's still so thin you wonder if you were sent a flat sheet. The thought of such a comforter makes us sick! Sure, it's harder to create, produce, and ship such impossibly huge comforters that are "thicker than thick"... But isn't that the whole point? With the number of hours, we sleep (or should sleep) each night, it should be a crime to have a flat sheet-like comforter. Our thicker-than-thick coma inducer consists of 800 gsm of thick, pure goodness. Overly thick filling combined with cozy soft plush creates a deep sleep experience like no other.
