It's smaller than expected and more firm than I'd like but well made! Perfect size for me, 5'4", but my husband who is 6'4" is comical in it! It seems well made so far. It rocks and swivels very smoothly. Reclines well though the foot rest is very hard to put back down. The material feels very durable, not plush or soft by any means, and I think it will be easy to clean. Overall content with the purchase, not thrilled. I wish it was bigger for the price.. Anonymous. When this came in, the box was in terrible shape. Luckily, the glider was not damaged structurally and there were only a few small smudges. Wayfair's superb customer service helped us and gave us enough of a refund to get it cleaned. This is comfortable, easy to assemble, and has a really nice feel of motion! We were between the khaki and the cream on color choice. I was worried the khaki would be too dark/ brown looking, but it is not at all. Beautiful! I was doing my fair bit of shopping and wanted a more contemporary looking glider for our room. This one looked nice and it was on sale so I bit the bullet. I was surprised to find the glider on my front porch two days after I placed the order. It shipped pretty compact and arrived in one box. SETUP: You do have to assemble it but putting it together was a breeze. There were only two pieces and after I lined up the backrest with the base seat, sliding it in was not difficult. You have to make sure you hear the clicks once the hardware was in place. When I did it, only one had clicked and I just had to push the other side a little harder to get it click. There is a fabric cover that you need to stretch tight to attach to the velcro under the chair frame. THOUGHTS: The chair looked awesome and fit the decor of our room. The glider was really comfortable and the rocking and turning action were very smooth and quiet. Wifey also gave me props for picking a good color. The fabric looked nice and looked like the more expensive ones you would find at West Elm or Pottery Barn. Needless to say, I know where I'm sitting for movie night!. Stupid easy to assemble the back onto the base. Took slight work to line up the wings but piece of cake otherwise. We partially chose this option because being partially unassembled made it much easier to get up a flight of stairs into the bedroom (rolled like a cube, about 50-60lb base). Fantastically fast arrival time! Two days! Decent colour, but disappointed when feeling the texture of the fabric in person. More “cheap plastic” feeling than I anticipated (the fabric seemed same to our other couch, another reason for choosing it). No noises when rocking or swivel, awesome! But, it takes a decent amount of effort to close the recliner footrest, and it makes a thunk. Fairly nervous how hard it'll be if I can't grasp the handles due to carrying a newborn and the sound waking him or sibling up in shared room after done nursing or night feeding :( I prefer manual over electric, but worried about regretting this choice. 24" wide seat perfectly fits me and our preschooler while reading a book!.
