I would have given this unit 5 stars if there was either a plug in socket on each side of the back wall where my computer monitors stand or if there was a hole on each side to allow the plugs to hang out the back to be plugged into the adjacent wall (and out of the field of view) This would have illuminated my cord confusion. I have to run the cords from the top shelf to plug them in I have a docking station for my laptop so all monitor cords run into it as it works as my “processor.” There should also be little digits on the side of the trays so that if you have something like a phone charging u can get the cord out of the way. I love how great this desk came out! I researched craft desks and kept coming back to this one for the style and adjustable storage. Read alot of past reviews on this desk and in the end still decided this desk would be best. Yes the box is heavy, but if you have some help to bring it inside (especially if you have a nice delivery person). It was packed very well. Customer tip: read the directions online first to familiarize yourself with the building since there are alot of parts n steps, but it was easy to understand as I have built other Wayfair items. Decide first off which way you want shelves as that will help make putting it together much easier, I chose the adjustable shelves on the right side. The only trouble I had a little was the bottom desk drawer piece and attaching the sliding bracket as the holes were hard to see, but figured it out and completely built it on my own. I had my husband and son help flip the top desk part onto the sections (which is why the box is so heavy - the desk top piece is the heaviest) Total time it took me with interruptions was about 2-3 hrs . I took a ton of pics and after Christmas will get some type of deskpad to protect surface especially since mine is white and normally thats not my style but this piece looks so stylish and I know it will work for all my crafting needs..
