Good Bed Frame, terrible packaging! Once assembled, the bed frame is super sturdy. It supports the mattress nicely with no squeaking or bouncyness. We like the lip overhangs the side panels so that you are less likely to stub your toes. We don't have to worry about breaking the slats with the two of us and our pets all piled on the bed. The manufacturer needs to rethink their packaging. The delivery was super rough on the box, and with only thin strips of styrofoam separating the pieces there wasn't anything in place to protect the bedframe corners from scratches and dents during transit. The side panels are thin sheet metal, very flexible and easily bent. We were able to assemble the bed by bending the dented sides into place to be bolted to the legs. Because of the lip around all four sides, the dents in the side panels are harder to see. The scrapes in the platform paint are visible, but overall minor. If this is something that would bother you though, I wouldn't recommend this frame as it is very easily scratched.. James. Washington. 2020-11-30 19:11:49
