This thing is gorgeous but its HEAVY. The corners are also sharp. I wouldnt want it to fall on a child or myself for that matter. It doesnt light up and Im fine with that. It shipped with batteries which only added to the weight of the box. But thats so convenient. Setting it wasnt hard. I thought this was the cheaper, lighter style like others Ive purchased here. This one is heavier and from the side its nicer looking. Personally, I like the cheaper lighter clocks for hanging. You have to push the button to light it up to see it from any distance, and that doesn't work unless you are close enough to reach it and push the button.
