My husband was able to easily assemble it with provided instructions, but we did hire a professional for wiring and installation. the pendant did not come with bulbs, so keep in mind that you need to buy some before install!. annakay. Easy (well, per my husband it wasn't "that bad" to install) to install esp I'd you're putting in a place where another chandelier already was. I replaced the chandelier that is super dated in our bedroom sitting area. I have a desk there & put the chandelier for lighting & to glam up the space a little, and wow, it made the space look so nice, it creates great light to do my makeup or read. I'm not sure if you can put it on a dimmer but if you can, I'd definitely do that! Beautiful materials, heavy & love the style, I will be recommending this to my in laws who are renovating their home! My mom saw this and immediately went to their website & ordered a similar one in a different color. Love this so much because it IS modern, but it also works well in our space that has some grey toned wooden furniture along with velvet chairs & platform bed.
