I love this fan so much! At first I was afraid that the shade around the light was too big for my small house but it really is more like an eye-catching centerpiece! It doesn’t hang any lower than any other flush mount fan. It’s super quiet, comes with a remote so no chains dangling down, which is great! I saw a couple other reviews about the light being really dim, which is true, but I don’t typically use the fan light so much as my overhead lights so that didn’t matter to me because I definitely bought this fan for the style and look of it, so if that’s your thought too then you’ll absolutely love this fan as much as I do. Finally had this installed today, and it is beautiful, I love it, and I also purchased the Bond device from wayfair in order to control this using my smart phone or my alexa ap and that also went through one two three, now I can voice command this incredible fan to come on , or simply ask it to turn the light on. I was a bit skeptical about a three blade fan but these Hunter fans do not disappoint! They operate very quietly and move a ton of air. I used the enclosed down rod and installed two of them in a large den (24x24’). The ceiling ht. is 12’. Very efficient in this space. My room design is transitional. These all black fans are perfect for the space. The fans are mounted to pecky cypress beams. I did need to use the enclosed balance weights on one of the fans which I attributed to mounting on the beam. I would recommend these fans if you have a modern or transitional design. Perfect if you do not need or want a fan with a light. I wasn’t sure about using a wall switch but I like using the switch. The switch allows you to adjust three speeds and to turn off.
