I've gotten two boxes of these tiles and put them together to see how I like them. So far I love them! Here's why: • They are less expensive than many other solutions. • They look very nice. • They are extremely easy to snap together (a 7-year-old kid could do it!) • No tools are necessary. • They are very lightweight; easy to move them around. I have them laid out on an uncovered patio just to try them out, and they've been there for a couple of weeks. Rain doesn't seem to bother them. (I have no idea if winter weather would damage them.) There are 27 tiles in a box, which is kind of annoying because the only thing that goes evenly into 27 is 9' x 3' which is too narrow to be very useful. (30 tiles per box would be more helpful, because there are a couple of layout options—3' x 10' or 5' x 6’.) However, two boxes total 54 tiles, which covers a 6'x9' area perfectly. The only thing I don't like is that occasionally you find a less attractive tile in the lot. Knots are to be expected; it’s real wood, and the tiles are inexpensive. But once in a while there’s a tile with too many knots, or one with a crack that was filled in with something, or is missing a small chunk of wood. However, be aware that I am super picky and I doubt most people would even notice. So I’m still giving them 5 stars. I’m attaching a couple of photos so: 1) you can see for yourself how much space two boxes will cover (I put the chair in the photo to give you a sense of scale) 2) You can see some closeups of nicer tiles and less nice tiles so you can judge for yourself. Laid this with my 13 year old son, it was a breeze. Quality product, square/true so easy to connect pieces. Looks nice in the herringbone pattern we laid with the 24x12 size (tip buy some 12x12 too to minimize cuts if you use this pattern). A small # of boxes were a different shade/dye lot which was not ideal but workable if spaced out (3rd photo). Including some pre, in progress and post photos. Worried about long term longevity of the underside plastic but time will tell. Shipping was a mess. Got 2 boxes, other 11 were missing. Hours on the phone but Wayfair tracked things down ...though the rest of the order was 2 weeks or more later. Excellent! I love the look. I bought 5 boxes of these. I would give it 5 stars, but the reason I say 4 stars is due to the inconsistency in tile connecting pattern. I understand what the person meant about the tiles not snapping together properly in the reviews, it seems as though some the the tiles were assembled to connect from the left while others where assembled to connect from the right. This would suck, and not work if you only had one or two boxes and needed them all to connect precisely, but since I had 5 boxes and a big area to cover and extras I didn't even need to use I was able to make it work by connecting some backwards and have some edges not connect at all.
