The Courtois desk lamp helps complete my renovated home office. It provides ample area lighting without being too bright. I did switch out the LED light shipped with the unit with a LED light bulb that stays cool when being used. The lamp is very sturdy and functional. This light is so amazing! Ottlite has a wonderful reputation for craft lighting. I use this on a small side table and swing it over my cross stitch or art.
