I purchased this for my husband and its a really neat little fridge. Keeps everything cold and is a good size and compact to put in any room. Only complaint I have is that the bottle opener is covering half of the "S" on Coors. Wish that was positioned better. Also two of my shelves needed to be replaced. The white stripping on the end of the shelves were cracked and was broken. I called the customer service number on the owners manual and they are suppose to be sending me two new shelves. I recently purchased the Black + Decker 3.1 cu. ft. Mini Fridge for my school office, and it has been a great addition. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and it’s been perfect! I needed a mini fridge that could fit a Brita filter pitcher in the door, which it can do no problem. It is able to fit most of the fruits and veggies I eat in a week in the main compartment. I was a little worried that the glass shelves wouldn’t be able to hold everything without breaking but they are more sturdy than they look. Freezer seems to be working great too. Update Wayfair sent me replacement very quick and it’s working great! I The fridge came damaged !!! What a waste of time ! It was in two boxes and seller sent me damaged item knowingly, because outer box wasn’t damaged and only inner box was damaged and outer box has brand on it! Nice mini fridge that fits perfectly in space built for 25 year old U-Line I had to replace. This is my second one as the first GE compressor died after only 5 years. Cost effective to just replace the entire unit and get the extended warranty. Plenty of room, nice interior setup and glass shelves make cleaning easy. Keeps everything very cold. Only downside is it is not self defrosting. The defrosting process takes about two hours which I do about every six months. I use this fridge for large amounts of greens, which I keep for my bunnies. It has a lot of room, considering its size, and it doesn't weigh much, so I can slide it around easily on a piece of cardboard. It took me a bit to find the temperature adjust wheel in the back (find it before you put stuff in there!) and it took a few tries to find the optimum temperature setting. I'm not 100% sure the temperature is even throughout the inside. It's a great value, though, seems to hold its temperature and keep things cool, and I like that it qualifies as an Energy Star appliance. Works great for my office at work. It holds Celsius and Uncrustables for the week, but could hold more. I do pull it out from under my desk when I leave for the day because the instructions say it should have enough room around the back to ventilate so it doesnt have to work so hard to stay cool. Technically, there is enough room for what the instructions call for, but I figured it wouldnt hurt. It is really light weight and stays cold. Theres no freezer but I didnt need one. I will say that the two holders attached to the door dont allow anything taller and thick if all of the shelves are also in. If it arrives upside-down, be sure to leave it upright for a day or so before turning it on. Most refrigerators need that and there are no arrows on the box telling the deliverers to keep it upright. Not really sure if it applies with this one, but I did and it gets as cold as a large refrigerator. I turn it off and open it for the weekend as well. Then the cycle begins again on Monday.. Rachel.
