A simple, classic style, the Glenn 300 Watt Floor Lamp is easily placed into a variety of décor and spaces. A matte black finished pole extends into a frosted plastic bowl shade that reveals a beautiful glow when lit. An Adesso patented 300 Watt Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provide approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the shade cup to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. NOTE: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFLs). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (a high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur.

This lamp is great. Just what we need for reading in bed without attaching something else to the wall. I really like the adjustable color temperature and dimming capabilities. It’s easy to operate with touch sensitive buttons on the lamp itself. We haven’t even put batteries in the remote yet, although this was a feature that convinced me to choose this model.
