I love these knobs. I ordered them in gold for my pantry because I have painted blue cabinets and a darker stained wood in there. For the main kitchen the black looked better against our rift cut white oak. They are different than your typical black knobs and pulls and stand out a little more. These knobs are great! The satin bronze is a bit darker than the brushed gold (see pics). I wanted it to match the mirror, so I went with the brushed gold (the lighter of the two) because the mirror has a bright light shining on it but the knobs are more in shadow so they will look slightly darker. .
