Beautiful clock, looks exactly like the photo, except there are no spindles, nor even any holes in the top or bottom for them. However, now that it is on the wall we prefer that it has no spindles. Gorgeous, rich warm brown mahogany (not dark/nearly black as the photo shows). This clock is a majestic piece and adds a richness to our living room.
