This is the best coffee maker I have bought by far. It's insanely quick (no waiting forever and ever for the drip drip drip of that first cup), and it makes me feel much less horrible no longer using the landfill-bound K-Cups. I waited for years to splurge on a Moccamaster. Although a lot of the parts are plastic, the coffee it makes is superb. It brews amazingly hot, and with the thermos top on the carafe, it stays hot for hours.
