Lots of issues with these. They get you a pretty weak cup of coffee compared to regular K-Cups. You get some fine grit in the bottom of your cup from the tiny particles that get through the mesh. And the cups are hard to clean. They'd be easy to just rinse out in the sink, but you're not supposed to put coffee grounds down the drain, so you need to leave your gross used cup laying out for a while to dry so you can shake the grounds into the trash and rinse out what's left. It's not amazing. There's nothing wrong with how they're constructed. The top seals tightly, they're easy to use, they fit in the machine just fine, they feel fairly well made. I love that they included a scoop, and the two different colors make it easy to prefill cups for both regular and decaf and know which is which. I think it's just a flaw with any mesh-based reusable pods, unfortunately. Perhaps other kinds of coffees work better. I'll continue trying to use them for the time being. Thank Goodness that I can add a filter to the water tank. It helps and taste great when I have the filter added due to us having well water. I read many reviews that had me worried after I ordered it, so I saved the box in case I had to return it. But so far, I have not had any of the negative issues that other readers posted. Contrary to what I read, I did not find this machine to be too loud. It heats water to a hot temperature. My son used a hot cocoa pod and he had to wait for it to cook down a bit , because he was too lazy to just add a little milk to it to help it cool down. This machine yields out EXACTLY the same amount of liquid as what I put in it (yes I used a measuring cup just to make sure) and as far as the too weak or too strong of a brew...I tried different flavored pods, and they were true to the flavor of the pods that I brewed...the medium or light.... brewed light, the dark ones brewed a dark strong brew, and it yielded the same amount as the water that I put in....so my conclusion would have to be that other consumers k-pods maybe we’re not the right flavor for them....maybe switch to a light roast or a dark roast k-pod depending on your taste. So far, no issues with it, and perfect for my needs. I hope this review helps others who are reading the negative reviews, I try to be honest, and factual with any reviews I leave, since I also depend on other readers reviews to make my purchases.. Its a great Keurig model! I love the hot and cold options, the cup size variables, and how quickly it gets me coffee. There is no assembly, other than putting together the normal parts you would use to make a cup of coffee anyways. Wayfair had a great deal on this during their Way Day sale and am very glad to have picked it up then. We are long time fans of Keurig devices and recently bought the K Supreme. When it was time to descale I bought one of these care kits and followed the instructions. However after spending quite a bit of time going through the process, our maker still showed the Descale light. Well one BIG thing the care kit instructions leaves out is the fact you have to press certain buttons on your coffee maker to start the official process. Which for our device was as simple as power off and then hold a couple buttons down until the display read Descale Started. Yes I could have looked in the manual, but assuming since the care kit was Keurig branded that it would cover all required steps. Other than that the kit has everything you need and I would recommend it. Just asking Keurig to add a couple lines to the instructions to make the customers life easier..
