The leather is okay not the greatest quality it was better in the lower priced smart bed with the Italian leather. The major issue with this bed is the recliner which is the main feature, it doesn’t attach to the bed so it’s just sitting there, if you recline it gets really weak as the structure is not strong enough to support a recliner. It wobbles side to side even if empty, if you’re reclined in it and lean too much to one side the entire thing will fall over. Sitting straight is a little more sturdy. The massage feature is just a vibration with different patterns not a true massager. The Bluetooth speaker speaks in Chinese and no directions come with the bed. It has a clock that’s stuck in military time. Heater and fan built in is a nice touch but points away from the bed. Finally the head and foot of the mattress portion is not supported properly as in the cheaper version so it sinks. You will need to purchase some additional support to make it work. For the price it’s a no but I will probably just keep it as I’ve waited months for it and sold the Habinara bed that was better made but had a useless chaise. Amazingly quiet motor, all metal build, and the remote lights up (but only the LCD part - the buttons themselves are difficult to read in low light) and has worked flawlessly. Doesn't creak at all. It's a hair smaller than the queen mattress so that it the whole mechanism can fit inside any bed frame that has removable inner boxspring support rails. It's got a great supportive surface for a memory foam mattress. The metal legs have three sections that can allow you to adjust the height. My pics show it with a 14" mattress purchased from here as well, and with I adjusted the height so that the top of the 14" thick mattress was either 25" or 28" tall, with the bottom clearance beneath the bed either 7.5" or 10" (which is pretty high and allows my robot vacuum to get beneath it, something it can't do under my other beds). Knowing this now, I'd have bought a 12" thick mattress so that the bed is 23" tall since many nightstands are that height. I'd recommend another set of hands to carry it in and assemble it. Instructions are straightforward. It arrived with a slight gouge in the top surface due to a gash in the box, but is hidden by the mattress. The box it arrived in was heavy and unwieldy for the shippers, so i believe that it should be split into two boxes since the bed, in the box, already is in two equal size pieces that you bolt together for assembly.). Well made super comfortable queen size sleeper sofa! I’m a 66 year old woman with a history of back problems, I managed to assemble this myself with minimal trouble... it’s a lot heavier than some of the reviews had led me to believe, but I got the job done in less and than an hour (including unboxing sliding it down the hall into the spare room using felt wood floor sliders) The back folds down flat easily without having to pull out the couch more than a few inches from the wall, and the only minor “con” I can think of I wish there was a mid-reclining option between the single one provided and the uprightflat position it’s a wee bit TOO inclined for my taste, but nothing a few throw pillows can’t remedy. Big plus I have long legs like the deep seat cushions on the couch, and the pop up trundle makes a fantastic lounger! ) The queen mattress is REALLY FIRM, so I bought a thick fluffy mattress cover to cushion it a bit for guests one side is cotton for summer, and the other is faux-wool plush for winter, which should make this the world’s most comfortable guest bed - EVER! The photos show the space behind the sofa in the reclining upright positions (the one with my little dog, Fergie, is of the sofa in the reclining position) The space in back of the sofa isn’t noticeable from the front, and actually leaves room for curtains to hang nicely. Finally, to add a cozy touch ( keep off pet hairs), I threw on an easy-to-wash cotton bedspread — there are so many different looksoptions for this wonderful sofa bed....
