The mattress came in a very well protected box and also wrapped around plastic. It is pretty heavy, but we managed to carry it around. It does not bend. It is beautiful and REALLY comfortable. I love this mattress first the delivery is fast it comes inside of a box it will take two people to unwrap although I was able to do it by myself but it’s super lightweight the mattress it’s no heavy lifting at all it’s about 13 inches deep super comfortable I highly recommend this mattress. I waited to post a review after almost a week of sleeping on the new mattress. I have to say that it is very comfortable to sleep on. It feels very sturdy and should last for years. I was a little skeptical about the cooling technology, but it works. I’m not sure how it does, but you can reach your hand under the blanket and it is cool to the touch. My wife and I both were amazed at this feature. The top of the mattress is plush. It feels and looks luxurious. We have the mattress on top of an adjustable base we used with our old mattress and it fitsworks fine. Make sure you have a few helpers to get mattress inside and onto bed as it is very heavy and bulky. This isn’t one of those thin mattresses rolled up into a small box.
