First problem was that a couple of the pieces were broken upon arrival. However, customer service was super responsive and shipped us new parts within a week. Next, the instructions are very confusing, especially if you wish to assemble this table with the long side facing left. However, after all is said and done, the table looks great and the quality is superb once all of the pieces are put together correctly. Setup was done by 2 people at most times, as mentioned, there were points of confusion. When the pieces were found to be broken, we couldnt resume until the pieces were shipped to us, which had been quick. After having this nook for a month, it works really well - we use it everyday for breakfast, and dinner. The cushions are comfy enough for eating, and the bench is a nice addition for when there is not enough room on the main bench. You can fit about 4-5 people with this nook, depending on how big people are. One thing that I wish was a bit better was the sturdiness of the table, as it can move if you push it a tiny bit. This table is exactly what I needed for my kids (4 5). It’s small enough to fit in the space I needed it for, but it’s also not tiny. It was cheaper, more practical, than buying an actual children’s table. Can easily fit 4 small children, or 2 adults. Was simple to build. I only knocked a star down because of the color it’s not as natural light as the product image. It has almost a greyblue washtone to it that makes it a little darker almost muddy. But I don’t really care, for our purposes. The kids will be doing all their crafts on it so it’s bound to be colored painted on. Plus, eventually, I can just paint or stain it myself. The table was well packaged & arrived without any damage to the box. That said, there are two spots where the wood is chipped but not visible since under the table. The table top has a hairline crack about 6" long. One of the table legs is wobbly due to the hole for the screw was not drilled properly. Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that.
