Lovely duel chamber trash can. The lids are quiet & quick to open with the foot pedal, & they lower slowly & silently. The soft finish on the bronze exterior looks great while also being "fingerprint-free." One thing to note is that the custom fit Songmic trash bags don't fit this model as well as generic non-branded trash bags. If you want the lift handle for the removable trash can to be outside the trash bag/acessible, then using the Songmics trash bag means the lid to the trash will be left ajar. If you choose to cover the lift handle with the Songmics trash bag, then the trash can lid is left just slightly raised. The screen does the job it was ordered for - hide the trashcan. Would certainly work for blocking a street view for an air conditioner. I ordered the white vinyl since it would be easier to hose off any mud splatter that the natural wood. Easy to put together, took only 20 minutes. Not as tall was what we are used too but it works great. If you have shorter children it would be great for them. Recycle blue bin comes out. Other side is stationary. Was exactly what I needed to replace my previous garbage can and hardware. When I purchased I didn’t know it included both the hardwire and garbage can. I used some of my previous hardware so that I would be able to pull garbage can out when I open the door. Please note the white hinges didn’t come with the hardware that was a separate set.
