This grill pan is awesome! I used it to cook two 16 oz. steaks - pan-seared on one side, then in the oven to finish them. It left beautiful grill lines on the steaks, stood up to the heat and best of all, even though it is as heavy as my cast iron pan, it literally is non-stick!!!! Some soapy water and a sponge, rinse and wiped dry with some paper towels and it looked as if it was never used! So far love it. Only used it once. It does have a cooler spot between burners but once pan heats up completely it cooks more evenly. Not too heavy which is nice.
