Kohler 1110587 Silent Fill Valve Kit

This part arrived ahead of schedule and the plumber installed it this morning. Toilet flushes as it should and tank fills quickly. This is a genuine Kohler part - not a generic facsimile - Very satisfied.. Diane. Edmonton, AB. Fri Dec 23 2022

My toilet buttons had to be jiggled to stop the water running. I watched a video that said where the problem probably resides. Plumbing work is like going to the dentist - no one really wants to "kick the skunk" as one fix tends to create another repair. I set aside two hours to do this. At 1430 I shut the water off. At 1435 I pulled the errant part. At 1440 I reinstalled the new part supplied by Wayfair. At 1445 I turned the water back on. Everything worked and I'd spent 15 minutes...That makes me really happy.. It’s a valve. It works. Please make sure your plumber uses COPPER throughout. My plumber used PEX and I believe the water pressure has been negatively affected. It is an error that will be too costly to fix at this juncture for me. 34 pex functions like 12 copper and 12 pex functions like 14 copper and so and so forth.... Marie. Cleveland Heights, OH.
