Fairly easy to build. I did it all on my own, took about 12hrs however I took several breaks and I was building 2 of these desks. I'm very happy with my desk. It's the perfect size for the space in my home office. It was shipped with a damaged part. Wayfair shipped the replacement part immediately. The only problem was that instead of shipping just the damage part, I was shipped the entire section. I paid for assembly but they never showed. I was reimbursed for that charge and discounted for the damaged part and the assembly team not showing twice. I did put together myself and like previous customers stated it is very time consuming. It was an 8 1/2 hour job including breaks. The instructions were easy to follow. It took some work to get the drawers aligned but I got it done. Everything was labeled VERY well and instructions were easy to follow (my only complaint was that in 2 sections it makes a point to say particular holes are “facing out”, but the illustration has them facing in).
