I love these lamps. I am not a "modern" furniture lover, but these go great in my transitional house. I wanted bedside lamps that were high enought to give off enough light to read by as I read every night. There is a shorter version but I tried out another lamp I had the same size and found it was not tall enough to read by. These are lovely lamps that I am adding to my guestroom. The only problem which is not really a problem is that for the touch feature the wire that comes out of the lamp base is extra long and needs to be tucked down into the lamp and it’s not a smooth entry into that base.
