I purchased two of these to put them outside in my backyard. I left them in the pot it came with and put them in larger pots with more rocks on top. When it gets super windy I remove the top half of the palms so they won't get damaged. I live in Southern Utah so we'll see how they survive the summer sun. This set of 2 phoenix palm trees is absolutely beautiful. I ordered the 84” x 65” trees. The leaves are good quality and the husk at the base of the fronds connecting to the trunk looks very realistic. The trunk itself looks like plastic somewhat but you cannot tell from a distance. It is securely "potted" in a non-decorative nursery pot (4.5" tall x 6" diameter). The overall dimensions are measured leaf tip to leaf tip, from the bottom of the pot to the tallest leaf tip: 40" tall x 30" diameter.
