Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good enough for me to take this outside yet but I tested it inside and it seems to work great. The material is soft but it is also pretty sturdy. Love the look & design of the outdoor light the most! It matches my new outdoor furniture perfectly. The weaving pattern & color. It’s very substantial, a great weight & height. Nothing to build, so that came easy. Just have to take it out of the box & find where it should go. I left it outside all day long & the light was still on the next day around 5am or so. It really does work well! If you live in windy environments I would suggest placing it near something or moving it around during a heavier storm. All in all- love it!
