Ok…. The directions are 27 pages long. I almost hired someone to put it together until I unboxed it, and it wasn’t that bad. Now…. Though, it took me almost 3 hours, and the directions say 30 minutes ( but that’s with2 people and I’m sure it could get done faster. Very comfy and beautiful. I can’t imagine having purchased any other sleeping/ comfy couch. You can put it as one piece dive it into two pieces or even use the two pieces in separate rooms. This couch is comfortable. Just hope the cushions expand a bit more. Maybe they will in time. Who knows we will see but for now it’s nice and I like it. We purchased the light grey loveseat for our loft space and have been very happy with it. Assembly was fairly quick and easy, I was really happy with the fabric. So many couches lately seem to have a heavier plush or corduroy-style texture, which wasn’t what I wanted. This chenille looks just like it did online and has a soft, cozy feel without that bulky texture. The couch itself is very comfortable, and the white plush pillows that came with it are both cute and surprisingly comfortable. We added a few of our own pillows, and it fits our loft space really well. We haven’t needed to wash the covers yet, but I really like that they unzip and can be machine washed, especially since we have a dog who occasionally decides the furniture is his when we aren’t looking. This was pretty easy to setup and put together. I did most of it myself in about 15-20 minutes. The back and armrests were where I needed some help, just because of the bulk. The arms are not thick, but that isnt an issue. The seat cushions are firm, but do soften, which I like. My only negative is the back of the couch does not come up very high, and the back pillows are on the thin side. If the couch was against a wall, this would not be an issue.
