This is the finest round banquet table. It is made-to-order in the Leighton Hall shop in Suwanee, Georgia. It has a field of pie-cut swirly-crotch mahogany surrounded by a straight-grain mahogany border. The six perimeter leaves feature swirly-crotch mahogany centers with straight-grain mahogany borders. The outer edge is three-beaded. It has a medium brown mahogany color with a hand rubbed and polished semigloss sheen. The four-leg pedestal has fluted columns and legs which terminate with antique lion's paw brass feet. It is an extra-large table that can be used in a round configuration from 82 to 100 inches. This color is called Burnt Brown. It is very dark; some people might call this color espresso brown. Under dim lighting conditions, it will look like dark chocolate; under brighter conditions, it appears dark walnut. The wood species is oak. The transitional saber-leg pedestal has hammered iron stretchers and details. This table is very sturdy and heavy. The leaves have magnetic inserts, so the table seams are always snug and the table doesn't "walk" or sneak open while in use. The table is 30" high.
