This ironing board cabinet is a smart space-saving solution. The cabinet is installed 3.5” into the wall, leaving a little more than 4 inches of cabinet sticking out from the wall. The instructions were easy to follow, I outlined all measurements, prepped the cabinet and the next day we finished the install. It was a nice tight fit, all pieces were used, which is always a good thing. Somehow I always end up with extra screws. The only hang up was that when I looked down the inside of the wall I noticed we had electrical running right through where my outline was. So we adjusted the cabinet and moved it a little higher to not interrupt the electric. Its higher that the instructions but it still works. Just beware of possible wires once you open the wall up.
