I absolutely love these couches and they are the most comfortable ones we’ve owned. The armrest are a design flaw. They flop outward every time you sit down, and would not stay down, and would flop constantly. Solid, well-made, and most important, comfortable! You don't "sink into" the cushions, which while supportive, are not at all too hard in my view. At a certain age, "sinking into the cushions" poses a real challenge when you go to try to stand up. (Don't ask me how I know.) I decided on four stars only because the very nice leather has an intentional "mottled look," which isn't my favorite, but I'll get used to it. It’s such an amazing couch and it made me so happy! The assembly took me almost the whole afternoon but I’m slow. I judge it’s really more of a two people job really. Some of the screws socket were a bit difficult to put together because of the misalignment between pieces if you tighten one part of the screw too tight and misplace the other, but with a little bit of force everything does come together fairly easily..
