Huge. Solid. Good for the price. Heavy as a mother. You have to put the entire top part together, including the desktop, then lift it and set it on top of the bottom. You need three people. Trust me you need three people. If you don’t use three people, you may wind up in urgent care with a broken finger. I really wanted to give this desk a 4.5 stars but that wasn’t an option. We got it to replace the vanity in my fifteen year old’s room. It had great desktop space for her Chromebook and papers. I love that it still has drawers and shelves to store things from her vanity. My fifteen year old mostly put it together herself but there were some definite hiccups. I debated between 3 and 4 stars, but decided on 4 because the desk, overall, is nice and serves our purposes well. Mine arrived in a package that was pretty beat up, so I feared I would have a lot of chipped and broken pieces, but the pieces were so solid that I only saw a couple minor scratches and one busted drawer. I tried to get the drawer replaced and haven't succeeded yet. The first replacement I ordered never arrived, and the shipping company said the tracking number didn't exist. I finally got a second replacement ordered, and it was the drawer for the wrong side. Though they look the same and have the same part number, apparently there is a couple centimeters difference on the outer panel, so they are not interchangeable. I may just end up gluing the original drawer together instead of dealing with customer service again. Finally, as others have said, the assembly instructions were incorrect in many places, which made it take an extra long time to put together. Thankfully, all the needed hardware was there in the correct amounts, it was just a puzzle to figure out where it all actually went, because it was definitely NOT what the instructions said.
