The durable lacquer coating adds a subtle sheen while offering protection against scuffs and ensuring easy maintenance. Crafted from solid rubberwood and bentwood, its sturdy construction supports up to 350 lbs, making it a stylish and reliable addition to any kitchen or bar area.

They are functional and work for my space. The color and quality seem good. They were not easy to put together - I needed a drill with the right attachment - there was no way the small allen wrench was getting those screws in. Do wish that the top of the legs fit further into the seat base. Based on product photos & submitted photos, mine seem to stick out much farther and almost extend beyond the cushioned seat - used a mallet to attempt getting them more fitted, but their size simply doesn't allow it without modifications. I am going to keep them because they fit perfectly where I need them.. Kristin. Plymouth, WI. Tue Oct 13 2026

Good NESS! I am all over the place on this review. Let me start by saying that I love the look of this stool. It’s classy and feels very sturdy. It arrived with some pieces already assembled which doesn’t happen that often. It really only should have taken about 8 minutes to assemble, BUT…the screws were very hard to put in, particularly into the wooden back. I was only able to get 2 of 3 fully screwed in, even with a power screwdriver. Then, when screwing the footrest on, the hole is on the backside and it’s like playing Pin the Tail on the Donkey to find the screwhole. But, eventually, I got them all in. Then, the chair was very uneven. We finally saw that one of the end caps on the legs was upside down and that was an easy fix. (This was one of pieces that came already assembled). So, while I do love the stool, it was not as easy to assemble as it should have have been.. Gwen. US. Sun Jun 07 2026

Bought 6 of these stools, put them together in about 3 hours, from removal from boxes to completed assembly, with no problems. They were well-packaged with all parts included, arrived promptly within days. Have put together a lot of purchased products over the years, including 10 chairs a couple months ago; these were great. All bolt holes lined up properly. Follow the directions and don’t tighten bolts too much until all are in place. None of the wood insert nuts came loose with significant tightening pressure applied, though one always has to be careful with that to avoid stripping threads but still getting tight. Recommend spending a few bucks for an T-handle hex wrench (metric) to assemble rather than using the included L-handle Allen wrench; it’s just more comfortable and faster. Stools appear to be very good overall consistent quality, better than expected. Used Loctite glue on bolts to address concerns some reviewers expressed and based on my own previous experiences, will see how that works out. A bit of good glue always seems to go a long way to preventing bolt loosening and instability with chairs and stools, can always repeat it later if there is loosening. After all leg bolts are in place, but before final bolt tightening, and when the stool is leveled up with all four legs touching floor evenly, remove each bolt one at a time and put a drop of glue on the bottom threads and screw back in tight, getting all done in the top first and then at the lower leg brace, tightening before the glue sets. Stools are comfortable and stylish, way cheaper than local furniture store equivalents, and we don’t buy junk or any cheapos. Totally satisfied and recommend them at this point; if any problems develop will post more information. Wayfair rocks for good quality stuff at very reasonable prices.. Chet. Quincy, IL.
