I've had this chaise/sectional going on two years now. For the most part, it has held up pretty well and looks good in my apartment. However, the MAJOR issue I have with the product is it's advertised as being faux leather. But when it arrived, the material was definitely not faux leather--but more like a faux suede. I specifically wanted a leather-like material because suede material is more delicate than leather and requires a lot to keep clean, especially during times of high use. That said, I decided to keep it anyway, because it does look good and I didn't feel like going through the process to send it back. It is easy to clean, though, when there is a spill or dirt gets on it. Spills and dirt do come out completely without leaving a stain. I use a rag and fabric cleaner. But the caveat to consider is I'm rather religious about cleaning it as soon as any spills and whatnot get on it. Plus, I don't have any kids or pets. Have had this sofa for nearly 5 years now, and it's actually very stylish and comfy. We condition it once a month, and it's pretty sturdy. I like that the cushions are velcroed on so they don't slide, but be advised that any underside of a cushion is a sort of felt-type material that hangs onto dirt and dog hair. Extremely happy we made this purchase! The sofa came exactly as described! I was a little concerned about the actual size because of a few reviews but I feel that it’s a very good size in all dimensions. My partner already took a 2 hour nap on the sofa about 2 hours later. There was no strong chemical smell as mentioned in other reviews and the feel of the leather is very nice! Very simple to put together. Getting the covers on the cushions was a little tricky but after doing two I figured it out quickly.To get rid of the wrinkles others have mentioned,as you are zipping the covers reach inside and adjust the cushion.Try to make sure all corners are filled. Also I bought some strips of velcro to make sure the cushions stay in place. Oh make sure you have a person help with getting the back put in. It makes it a little easier. You might need to manipulate the arms a little bit.But trust me it will fit. It looks nice and is comfortable to sit in. I like the material also, no more dog hair stuck in the couch. Kim.
