This is a really lightweight dolly. The description says 77 lbs, so I do believe you can not go heavier than that. The base of the dolly, where you put the item to be carried, is plastic, so it is not meant for heavy items. I was a little disappointed that it isn't heavier, but I will use it to carry luggage or anything bulky but light. This is such a not only beautifully made shopping trolley, it was a very smart build. Pictures don’t do it justice. The trolley is larger than it is, well built and strong. The caviar are these wheels. They are literally for all terrain. And the fact that they can be manipulated to roll up stairs. I honestly did not know I needed this until rolling groceries up 6 floors. The design is amazing and the construction is sturdy. The stitching of the container bag itself is strong.
