Although I wasn't particularly hopeful, I needed a small stick vacuum for the one large area rug in our home. The remainder of the floor is finished wood. Very nice set, replaced the set that was originally sent that arrived with a missing handle and dirty, due to poor packaging. The replacement set was packaged similarly, so glad it arrived in tact.
