I took a while to write this because it took us six months to find a contractor to put it together! Everyone is busy during peak contractor season. The finished product is amazing. It's a great deal and an amazing shed with lots of storage. Very stylish. I think our contractor had to buy paint, roof shingles and a couple of extra pieces of plywood. I will give you the breakdown, it took a licensed builder a full week to put it together but it's done right. Just to let you know if you are a DIY it will probably take three times that. WORTH IT. We put it over a concrete slab. SO HAPPY.. Amanda. United States. Wed Nov 16 2022

12 ft. W x 26 ft. D Wooden Garage Shed is the perfect addition to any property looking to add more storage space. Park your car, store your riding mower, and any other tools you have, all at the same time! Once the Fairmont Garage is assembled, it will look like it was always meant to be there. Put it alongside your house like a standard garage, or put it in the backyard for a detached garage and storage shed. Once you paint it, add shingles and a garage door and you will have a beautiful addition to your property!

This needs at least two-three people to install it, and it does not come with a floor, garage door, or roof shingles. All specified in product description. Although we paid 7,000, it took another 3,500 to complete the finished shed because of that. Plus we insulated and installed sheetrock inside. Pretty easy to follow instructions and materials were well documented and tagged. Lots of room inside. We reconfigured windows and one door easily. Overall a good value considering we did the work ourselves.. Family. Yardley, PA. Sun Dec 26 2021

I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the instructions were pretty clear. I put mine on top of of a concrete pad. Also did a row of cinder blocks, which required a little customizing where the door fit in the wall. Also bought my own 16 foot and 10 foot long boards for the sill plates and headers, and used them instead of the shorter pieces that came with the kit. Michael. Wed Jul 03 2024

I would say the canvas tarp is misleading. It looks thicker and more substantial in the photos. It’s definitely shinythinner material than I was expecting…but it took my husband 2 hours to set it up by himself, so it’s. Kelsey. Flagstaff, AZ. Sun Mar 15 2026

Spacious Outdoor Storage Shed: It offers substantial storage space, ideal for storing equipments, bicycles and seasonal items, helping to keep your outdoor area tidy and organized

Product arrived on time. - in three separate boxes as promised. All parts and instructional steps were included. Assembling ít was a challenge. This 10x12 FT outdoor shed offers ample space for lawnmowers, bikes and other large items while keeping the interior dry and the structure stable. It features top transparent panels and 2 windows to let in natural light, plus 4 vents for good ventilation. Crafted from 0.25mm color steel and 0.6mm galvanized sheet, with 4 anchors, it resists corrosion, rain and UV. Also, it has a sloping roof to prevent water buildup and a lockable door.

Very Disappointed With This Purchase This shed has had multiple issues throughout the assembly process, including numerous pre-drilled holes that are not in the correct locations or do not properly align. We brought these concerns to Wayfair Support and have provided multiple photos clearly showing the incorrect and misaligned holes. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the possibility of defective or incorrectly manufactured parts, we have essentially been told that we are assembling the shed incorrectly. We have followed the instructions, tried the troubleshooting steps provided, and sent photos demonstrating the issue, yet we continue to go back and forth without a resolution. This has now been going on for more than three days, and the process has been extremely frustrating and unproductive. We spent a significant amount of money on this shed and expected a much better experience. I am not someone who typically complains or leaves negative reviews, but I feel this experience needs to be shared. Based on our experience, I would not recommend purchasing this shed. The product has had multiple issues, and the customer support experience has made an already frustrating situation even worse. At this point, we are seriously considering looking elsewhere for future purchases rather than continuing to deal with a support process that has not provided a meaningful resolution. For any future buyers, please look at a different shed or elsewhere.. Alicia. Bemidji, MN. Thu Sep 24 2026

The spacious interior, heavy-duty steel-reinforced construction and low-maintenance design gives you a durable garage or workshop, and is the perfect solution to your storage needs. Consult local building codes before assembly. Note: This shed must be built on a flat level foundation of wood or concrete (not included). Anchoring hardware depends on the type of foundation you have and is therefore not included in the shed kit. Our window walls are interchangeable with any of the shed’s side walls, so you can place them wherever they best fit your layout and lighting needs! Consult all local building codes to verify if the shed requires a building permit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I'm pleased with the shed I finished two days ago. We're using it as storage and a workshop while we convert our garage into a playroom for our kids. There are several things we like about it, including the design, ample space, affordable price, and the fact that it's easy to maintain with just a pressure wash. However, there are a few downsides. Since it's made of plastic, some of the pieces didn't fit together as smoothly as expected, despite my efforts to level the platform and deburr the edges. Specifically, some of the corner trim was slightly too long, which prevented the corner roof panels from fitting properly. Additionally, the holes in the top tiles didn't line up exactly with the main roof panels, even though the panels lined up with the trusses and walls. The window latches were also difficult to turn, and I had to trim the plastic inserts significantly to get them to work. I'll need to contact Lifetime to get a couple of replacement windows due to a manufacturing defect. Despite these minor issues, I'm satisfied with the shed overall. I did have some difficulty putting most of it together alone. The doors absolutely require two people, so it's definitely easier with help throughout. I'm glad I received good help with the doors. I didn't need to level or have any issues with the door assembly. I love the rolling double door and single door. It's great to open it up in nice weather and makes it convenient for ventilation when using a table saw and then blowing out the sawdust. The directions, YouTube video, and BILT app were helpful and straightforward. If you have DIY experience, it's not overwhelming, but it's still a big project that took me a full workweek to complete. There were a lot of screws and bolts, and it was much more time-consuming than the two other plastic sheds I've built before. I will be pulling an electric permit to run a subpanel for power and lights. I will also be building an internal wood frame. I am grateful for the product.. Benny. Portland, OR. Tue Apr 02 2024

I need to complain first. The shed was supposed to be here april 12-15th instead it was on its way in February....that didn't work out so they postponed it until March 12th. Then there was a delivery issue, were they wanted me to pick it up (with a flat bed in ohio) OR rent a high-low to get it off there truck...!? Wait that's not what the add said!! Finally it came and got off the truck. The shed itself is easy to put together the trusses were a bit daunting and I would have to say the hardest part was figuring out the roof sheeting sizes. After that it was a snap, I even put in electrical and outside lighting in the soffit. I also used the box it came in to make a (FREE WORK BENCH) as well as rafters for extra storage...I used every bit of what they sent me and this is what I ended up with. All in all I would recommend this shed but be ready for the b.s. of delivery!!. Annette. MI. Wed Mar 02 2022

Treated wood shed siding provides a protective barrier against rot, decay, and insects.

2x4 construction. Shipping company was very good (fast, worked with dropping it off in right location, no damage). Only gripe is I thought it was going to be 16” on center and it is 24” on center.. Isaac. Sun Jun 30 2024

Insulated steel wall and roof panels combine with tempered glass sections to create a versatile structure for gardening, hobbies, work, relaxation, or organized storage. My wife and I just finished building our 10x13 glass house. It mostly went well and the structure is well worth the money, but there is one big problem. Most counties require anything over 120 sq feet to be permitted. I went to get a permit and was told I needed stamped engineer drawings. With my existing wooden storage shed that was not a problem but when I called the seller they did not have any drawings, so I called the distributor, they didn't have them either, so I called the importer, they didn't have them. Then I emailed the manufacturer and never heard back. I tried to cancel the order and buy their 10x10 unit, but was told it was too late since it had already been shipped. So, I'm illegal. I don't know what I'll do if my county building department gets on my case. Anyway, the structure arrived in 2 crates. One was smashed up in transit. Fortunately none of the glass was broken. Some metal parts were banged up but nothing that prevented assembly. I'll attach a bunch of pictures. Building it went well. My wife and I did most of it. We needed a 3rd hand for putting up the walls . Once the walls and framing were complete the 2 of us put the roof panels on. That was dicey but we did it. One note, many, if not most, of the pre punched holes do not line up, but everything was square and level so we just drilled starter holes where needed. When it came time to put in the glass you install an exterior frame and then install the windows from the inside. I found out after the first glass wall, that installing the window pushed out the exterior frame, so have a 3rd person hold that. Also, the 2 rear windows just screw into styrofoam insulation. There should be something in the wall panel to accept the window screws. Basically, those 2 windows are held in by adhesive silicone grout. Lastly, when all was done it was time to install the french doors. They didn't line up. The entire structure was square and true but the doors were about 1/4" off, so I had to grind out the striker and drill new holes for the door stops. The french doors do not have adjustable hinges. They should. Overall we're very happy with this and think it's a good value, but the permitting issue is very problematic and the french doors should be redesigned with adjustable hinges. Enjoy the pictures. Update, June 30. We've had a couple of heavy rain storms and the 2 rear windows leak badly. I'm currently talking to the manufacturer. They'll probably need to send replacement windows (the windows come pre assembled).. Billy. New Mexico. Sun Mar 08 2026

The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. Overall for price and size this shed is worth it. My only other suggestion would be to anchor it down to protect against adverse weather.. Anonymous. Cheshire County, NH. Mon May 04 2026
