The table itself is gorgeous and I would give it 5 plus stars. The issues I had was with Wayfair - terrible, rude and no customer service and this experience cause so much anxiety -basically I order in May and the table was delayed and delayed. After missing the event I was planning to use it for in September they would not allow me to cancel. It went to executive resolution who returned my first email and never responded or call back. Several emails and attempts to talk to someone was time consuming and worrisome - note they never called. Was absolutely shocked - I reached out to the actual supplier and found out the table was just sitting in their warehouse - I was able to get the supplier to contact directly wayfair. Our beautiful creation starts with a rare-to-find natural Teak wood Root Console that is processed through our artistic studio. The local villagers search for these Teak specimens, when finding an old tree that had naturally fallen, these trees expose their once completely buried root crowns. The Root Crown can be processed and will yield 2 of these amazing Rustic Natural Power Consoles. While finding these natural items is rare it can take sometimes up to a week of work simply to move them from these distant lands to where they can be processed and exported to America. Cladding a sleek black upright rectangle in the flowing patterns of Golden Acacia wood was the brilliant move we made with the River Console Table. Because it is double-sided, it can go against the wall but it doesn’t have to be placed with one side hidden, which makes this a flexible piece in a room.
