Disappointing . Purchased two One leg screw was stripped so unable to securely attach . Both had chips making the finish uneven . The chemical smell is powerful so you may consider airing them out before use in a room . Wayfair customer service is great but I can not recommend this item. Madelaine. This would be a beautiful piece if not for the fact that there were issues with the way it was packaged. The legs, packed in a box inside of the cabinet, became lodged in the top drawer, wedged so tightly in such a manner that it could not be shaken loose and the drawer could not be opened. The method of packaging the cabinet should be changed. The drawer was jammed shut with dislodged styrofoam and the box of legs were jammed tightly above the frame of the drawer. It was impossible to open it without some damage to the drawer occurring. Besides the above unfortunate occurrence, there was also a bit of damage that the cabinet came with, including a scratch on the top and a ding in the wood on the side. Damage to the front edges of the drawers occurred from trying to wedge the top drawer open far enough (millimeter by millimeter) in order to gouge the block of styrofoam out, bit by bit, so the legs would be free to drop down far enough that the drawer would open. It would have been a beautiful cabinet had not these problems occurred. The drawers are well-made. The top drawer is lined on the bottom. I am disappointed because of the unfortunate packaging and the damage. Advice for the furniture company I have had this happen once before with another company. Never pack anything into a top drawer! If you must pack it in a drawer, put it in the bottom drawer (if there is an open space between the drawers) so the top drawer can be removed and the contents in the bottom drawer revealed and adjusted so it can be opened.. I looked forever for tables that were the right height and width and color for my guest room. Needed to be at least 28 inches high so they were not lower than the mattress and black is getting hard to find these days. Not many options. I wanted something with a little more curve to them, but just couldn't find anything. Because these were the right size and color I had them sitting in my cart. Then one morning...surprise...54% off. I ordered them and they arrived in two days!! Packaged great. I hate assembly, but these were super easy. Did the 2nd one myself. Husband helped with the first one. Maybe 30 minutes each. These are solid, actually painted wood. Nice!! Drawers are on glides and the finish is great. They give you some extra hardware too. Just in case. Drawers roll easily and don't fall out.
