They can also use it for a crafting table which they all love to do! It’s a prefect size for them.. ages 6 to 10! The front opening is the perfect place to store their coloring books, crayons and puzzles! It came flat in a box but the assembly was extremely easy! The top is a nice wood tone and the body and legs are silver so it’s actually a nice little piece of furniture and the quality and sturdiness are both great! Love the style, size, and color, it's exactly as the pictures dictate, plus free shipping is a massive bonus! Very disappointed with the shipping and subsequent damage. You pack it well apart from leaving out protection on the long sides where it needs it the most. There was continued damage in one place throughout the layers and I had to tape the damage to prevent it from crumbling even more as we assembled it. Also, the labeling is non-existent or illegible both on the furniture and the hardware. It took some common-sense to understand the unlabelled directions/pictures. We really enjoy these desks. The size is perfect, large enough surface to allow plenty of work space and the adjustable height will allow us to use them for a very long time. However, the reason for reducing a star: the top is made of a particle board material and during assembly we had three screws stripping through so that the desk top is not 100% secured to the frame.
