This rug is so soft underfoot and the quality is great. I purchased the Charcoal/Dove option. I really want to love this rug, but this color option is just so busy. In the stock photos you can make out the pattern through the 'distressing', but in our space the pattern in nonexistent. We have a lot of natural light in this room and the slightly raised fibers that make up the distressed look are shiny and the light really highlights that. Between the high contrast in the colors and the shiny fibers, your eye goes right to the rug because it's so busy. As much as I dislike the hassle of returning a rug, this will be going back.. Erin. The rug is shipped folded in half, which was surprising so it's not the thickest rug. It is very heavy and the colors are pretty, The rug is soft, I haven't laid it out yet as I'm waiting to move the furniture. It will need a thick rug pad, but will work well.. Stephanie. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this rug, it was packaged accordingly so that there would be no snags or dirt on it. Once I laid it down, it looked better than the photo they had for it. Colors were rich and the fibers offered a soft feel on my feet. I did have to put something heavy on the ends to flatten them out for the first twenty-four hours as they weren't flat after unrolling this rug. It's typical to experience, so I anticipated having to do so. The backing on this rug is no different than any other rug. It doesn't slip when walked on or move when being vacuumed which was nice. My home does have a dog and a cat and this rug has not snagged at all which tells me it's durable because that's usually a common problem for me when it comes to my cat. The colors blend so nicely in this rug which is another thing that I loved. The style I received did compliment my decor in my living room and gave it that extra pop in the overall design. I have shampooed this rug as well and it stayed soft without any color fading or issues. I'm really satisfied with this rug and will be ordering a runner in this style as well.. Berry43.
