Ordered these with the 6" foam mattresses as they were advertised with them. I thought they would fit the mattress perfectly, however, they are for a regular twin mattress so there is extra fabric to accommodate a thicker mattress. It doesn't create a huge problem though since the extra fabric is easy to tuck underneath and doesn't affect the way the mattress lays on the bed. They are not entirely necessary to purchase with the mattress as the mattress has a nice covering over it already. I thought this mattress topper would be the answer to making my sleeper sofa more comfortable, I was right! If you have the typical stiff uncomfortable mattress on your sleeper sofa, then you need to purchase this 3 gel memory foam mattress topper, it is amazing!! It took about a half hour for it to take full shape, it was fun watching it plump up. Now I cannot wait until we have an over night guest, no more sore back in the morning. I also tried the topper on my queen size bed, although it was still very comfortable I felt it was too soft, as my bed already has a mattress topper built into the mattress, I feel that it works better on a standard mattress.
