The tile is easy to install and fairly easy to cut. It looks really good. However quality control needs improvement for this product. Imperfections are understandable but large gaps, misalignment of tile, and pieces that were not glued well seemed to be quite common. First issue: One box does not cover 54 sq. feet. It is more along the lines of 15 sq. feet. It is close to five dollars a square foot at 15 square feet instead of a little over a dollar for 54 square feet. Second issue: Flooring is shipped in original packing which does protect it from damage from shipping. Only two of my planks were not chipped or cracked. This project turned out beautifully. The tiles were easy to stick, place and match up. They cut easy with a scissors. The hardest part was a straight edge , no matter which kind of blade we used. we will end up caulking along some areas for a more “finished “ look. Tiles look can look different colors in different lights but mostly do have a blue hue that others warned about. That was ok for our beach house. I absolutely love this product. I have never used a peal and stick tile before but this is so easy to work with. No tile cutting machine and the back adhesive is so strong. I tried to lift it and it was on super well that I couldn't move it without ruining the wall so I will have to touch up a small part with grout. I did use a brayer roller to press the tile down after applying them to the wall. I did have to prep my wall where I removed the original tiles to fill in where the tile pulled away some of the drywall when removing the existing tiles. I just mud and sanded those spots flat before adding the new tiles. Make sure you have it clean well before you add the new tiles It's so nice that you don't need to grout it after applying it. It can be cut with an X-act-o knife. You have to score it several times but if you have ever done any drywall repair it is similar to that where you score and snap it and then cut through the seam. It's made of a composite material like laminate flooring but thin. Very durable. It comes in black or white sheets and they are not quite a foot square. I will caulk around the edges after I paint the wall. It says you can use it in bathrooms and kitchen and that it is heat and water resistant. I used it above my utility sink in my wash room. So far so good. I just installed this tile last weekend. It went in fairly easily and I love how it looks. The pattern is a bit busier and darker than in the listing but it hides the dirt better than a plainer pattern. I really like how tight the seams are on this product several others Iooked at had gaps or faux grout lines that are just asking for dirt buildup. Overall I'm very satisfied with the quality for the price. ( I recommend using a table & miter saw or a flooring saw that does both. (I used a RYOBI cordless flooring saw) These are heavy duty tiles and are not easy to score and snap.) Also pencil marks erase right off with no problem.
