It’s nice and heavy, but the photos on the website suggest a greenish tinge and the product is actually just black. Would have preferred it to be the color represented on the website. OMG this door knocker is so cute!!! It’s large and has some good weight to it! It’s absolutely beautiful! I had an old school door knocker on my door, so I already had 2 holes in my door. I needed a knocker that would accommodate the existing holes and this worked out perfect! This knocker is a 2 piece knocker and my existing holes are 4” apart. Very easy to install and look great. I have been living with door stops for uneven doors for the past 8 years- finally got a quote for repair that was outrageous, and decided I'd go this route instead. I got the brass color (which is an antique/aged brass tone- not the bronze color pictured) and am considering using some rub and buff to make the silver magnets the same tone... however it still looks good with the two tones. One thing to note- to take the smaller piece apart for screwing in, you'll need to push in the middle silver piece and hold it against the back with your thumb and pointer finger to turn. This is very well made and heavy (cast iron?). I'm giving 4 stars because I bought this door knocker to use as a door knocker, but it arrived without holes to mount ( 'holes' are filled-in with cast iron ), so I couldn't mount my door knocker as a door knocker, so I repurposed my door knocker into a door stop and I'm very happy now with my new door stop... that can also be used as a floor knocker (if I had downstairs neighbors, it would be a fun way to annoy them)..
