Our summertime temps have been quite intense and this product was designed to help alleviate those unwelcome UV rays from streaming into the home as well as help lessen the burden on air conditioning. Notably, the grade of this product is comparable to what you see in those mirrored commercial buildings, easy to see out but repels the UV rays from coming in while also protecting your furnishings from being discolored by the suns rays. The ease of application is surprising, however, if you’ve never applied this before I’d recommend you watch a video or several on you tube as to ‘How to Install Window Film to Block UV Rays’, it will help make the job even simpler. The attached photos represent the upper window pane with the completed installation while showing the minimal, yet effective, difference in the attractive tint of the upper pane. The exterior appears as mirrored in the daytime but will appear transparent when the room lighting is on, so don’t expect it to be privacy screening.
