This is a great mailbox! Love that it stores our mail when we are on vacation. The design is lovely and fits the look of our house. It did take a while (over an hour) for 2 people to install. In addition, we originally thought it was going to be way too big for a mailbox, however the size ended up being perfect and not overbearing. Likes: -We love the way it looks. Unique to other mailboxes in our neighborhood. -The opening is larger for additional mail items such as the smaller packages we receive that usually end up sitting on the ground by our front door (sometimes getting soggy or wet). -Sturdy -Durable plastic material -Magnetic piece to keep the door closed -Love the plant hanger option on the back, easy to assemble. Dislikes: -a little difficult to put together -instructions needed to be clearer regarding attachment of the top to the bottom of the actual mailbox (where the mail goes into). We do a lot of online shopping and receive many small to mid-sized packages. This large capacity mailbox is USPS approved but MUCH larger than boxes made since 1914, as it is a newly approved size. Besides being roomy, it is an attractive oil rubbed bronze with nickel colored flag and handle. The magnetic closure keeps the lid tight, and the flag is sturdy and does not slip out of position. My current box flag sags and will not stay in the correct place. I can't wait to get this erected and into use. It will save the postal workers walking to my front door once or twice a week. It is sturdy, and works for what we need. A few things I wish I knew before I purchased this is that it does require a bracket to install on a post you own. The maker sells posts that works with this box with out the bracket. We also had to add wood to our post to accommodate the lip the mailbox has underneath.. Georgette.
