Much larger than I envisioned! But that means small packages will fit without squishing the mail. I also love the locking section and feel more secure now. It’s easy to figure out for anyone to slide mail into the top section and having it fall into the lower part. Very heavy metal. The numbers are magnetic but hold tight to the sides. We are building the post ourselves to save $$ on it. It’s a pretty dynamic piece.. Taimi Gorman. Bellingham, WA. Thu Jul 30 2026

This heavy-duty locking mailbox offers superior anti-theft protection, durable weatherproof & rust-resistant build, easy installation, large capacity for mail & packages, and secure curbside design—safe, sturdy, and hassle-free for home use.

Built like a tank but dressed to impress, the Ironside post mounted mailbox is your go-to for strength, space, and serious staying power. This heavy duty mailbox is made from thick-gauge, galvanized steel that’s impact-resistant and tough enough to handle whatever the day (or delivery driver) throws at it. It’s a metal mailbox that doesn’t flinch. Finished with a smooth, powder-coated exterior that fights rust and weather, the Ironside shines in more ways than one. The large mailbox interior easily handles high volumes of mail, padded envelopes, and small packages. A magnetic latch keeps the door securely closed, and sturdy piano hinges mean smooth, reliable access every time. Whether you're upgrading residential mailboxes or shopping mailboxes for outside that can take a serious beating, this outdoor mailbox gets it done. USPS approved and ready to mount with multiple installation points. Curbside durability never looked so good.

Exactly as expected. Strong, high quality mailbox that arrived quickly. Installation: Easy to attach to a mounting plate using the holes on the bottom of the exterior sides. It’s petty heavy, so be sure to attach to a strong post - I got the Gibraltar Landover post (which is actually hollow) and slid it over a 4x4 sunk 17” into the ground which is 30” above ground (so the 4x4 is a total of 47”). It looks great and was definitely worth the money to upgrade from the low-quality, dented mailbox that the prior owners had chosen. I got custom decals elsewhere to finish the look.. Marion. All metal drop box with a professional-looking paint job. Powder coated flat black, and I found it to be a very sturdy box. I made a form and mixed up some Quikset then mounted it to the slab. I then riveted a few signs to the box. I absolutely LOVE IT !!! This parcel package drop box is still holding up to the Michigan weather with zero issues. Your packages deserve better than a doorstep. Every day, millions of deliveries are left exposed – visible to passersby, vulnerable to weather, and sometimes stolen. The Merapi Large Parcel Drop Box changes that. Imagine coming home to find every package safely inside, not scattered across your porch. No more rushing home to beat the delivery driver. No more soggy cardboard on rainy days. No more worrying about porch pirates when you're away for the weekend. This isn't a flimsy plastic box or a screw-together metal kit that wobbles and rusts. It's a single, seamless piece of cold-rolled steel – 1mm thick, powder-coated, and built to outlast the seasons. The rear access door lets you retrieve packages from your backyard or garage, away from street view. The front drop slot is designed for couriers – they don't need a key, so every delivery goes straight into the box, not on your doorstep. Whether you live in a busy neighborhood, a quiet suburban street, or a rural area with long delivery routes – this parcel drop box gives you one thing every homeowner wants: peace of mind. No assembly. No hassle. Just security, from the very first delivery.
