(UPDATE) I finally got my vanity area done. In general, I love the mirror, BUT, I would have preferred to have it mounted to the wall. The instructions seem to indicate that there should have been a bar on the back of the mirror for the J hooks to attach to, but the back of my mirror was perfectly smooth, so there was nothing for the J hooks to hold. In other words, if you plan on hanging this mirror, when you receive it, open it immediately and verify the hanging hardware is included. Also, keep in mind this mirror is very heavy, so definitely make sure it has excellent support (attached to wall stud). Works for me, but cautiously recommended to someone who wants it wall mounted. Overall, it gets the job done, but there are a few features that seem ill-conceived. For example, the power outlet is on top of the desktop. The lights are also stuck directly to the mirror, which you have to manually do with no markings of where to put each bulb so they are symmetrical, and the wires sit on top of the mirror.
