This side board is gorgeous in peron. I purchased two of them to serve as a long TV console with the TV mounted on the wall just above it. The color is rich. The shelves are spacious. I added a few wooden baskets inside to keep stuff neat. Note, the entire piece isnt wooden but the legs and front are. It took the installer about 2hrs to put both pieces together. This item is 4 separate pieces. It was very easy to put together and arrived very quickly. I expected the drawers to be shallow given the depth of the piece so expect that. The shelf in the larger pieces is stationary but is adjustable in the smaller side pieces. I was worried the oak/oak would have a yellow undertone in it but it does not. Looks great and very solid construction. Would definitely purchase again. Description says real wood and it is real wood not particle or press board. Pine with a baked on finish which looks fantastic. Assembly is simple and the directions are straightforward. Everything aligned perfectly and it took about 45 min to assemble both boxes. We found that attaching and aligning the doors was easier with 2 people. Aligning the doors took some patience but once we got the hang of the hinge adjustment, we got it done.. Robert.
