While the covering seems thick enough there is excess amount of it and it wrinkles all over unlike previous mats I've used for my daycare kids which have been very snug all around. The foam inside is not very dense and I am concerned it will compact quickly with regular use. I will update as things do or don't develop as I just received them...after waiting 2 1/2 months!.
